Melbourne - what a city! No wonder it's regularly voted the world's most 'liveable' city - what's not to love? Actually, at the moment, the weather. It's cool and rainy today but we're promised 32 degrees by Sunday.
So the flights were - no surprise - extremely long to get here (the last leg from LA to Melbourne was 16 hours!), but they were surprisingly pain-free. I think the girls lost count of the number of movies they watched though... The jet lag has also been surprisingly fine - we arrived Wednesday morning in Melbourne and just immediately got on Melbourne time. After a busy first day we went to bed at the normal time and slept right through until morning - and that's it! We're now on Aussie time.
We plunged right into Melbourne life on day 1 - lunch at a fabulous cafe, then in the evening it was off to a beautiful beach for fish n chips and a great play in the waves. A life in a day in Melbourne...
I can see that the challenge for us is going to be fitting in the home schooling with all the amazing activities on offer - I can also see that keeping up with the blog is going to be challenging. I'm already a few days and about 17 activities behind...
